Individual Success Stories:

Maddie: A Future in Criminology and Psychology

Maddie has secured her place at Marjon University to study Criminology and Psychology.

"I am delighted to have got my place! I worked really hard and spent my weekends studying rather than seeing friends in the lead-up to my exams. I am so pleased it’s paid off. I was so well-supported by my teachers, who really helped me achieve the best I could. Having the opportunity to go on trips to Marjon to look into the courses available and to Bodmin Jail helped make my decision to go into Criminology and Psychology. Plus, I find criminology so interesting anyway!”

Lucy: On Her Way to Kings College, London

Lucy has earned a spot at Kings College, London studying Social Sciences, London, one of the top universities in the UK. Reflecting on her journey, she says:

"I am lost for words. I can’t believe I have a spot at one of the top universities in the UK. My journey has been a rollercoaster; it’s been challenging at times, but with the support of my teachers, I have made it through and, even better, got into this amazing university."

Mrs. Gears expressed her pride in Lucy’s accomplishments: "I am so incredibly proud of Lucy. She’s been through all the ups and downs, but she did it, all by herself. I knew she could!"

Gracie: Thrilled to Study at Kings College, London

Gracie has secured a place at Kings College, London, where she will be studying Religion, Sociology, and Politics. Reflecting on her achievement, she shares:

"I am overwhelmed but incredibly grateful for the resources and opportunities that helped me secure this amazing university place. Mr. Tinkler, the teachers, the staff behind the scenes, and my parents have all played a huge role in my success. I'm thrilled and really proud because I worked so hard. I’ve always been fascinated by the world, how it works, and the social interactions between people, so I can't wait to start this next chapter. I’m really over the moon!”
