Healthy Quality Child Mark
Stoke Damerel Community College has been awarded the Healthy Child Quality Mark (HCQM).
The HCQM is now the established Health, Wellbeing and Citizenship development tool in Plymouth’s Education settings.
School provision, policy and achievement is scrutinised rigorously, using the HCQM Criteria which is made up of a set of challenging minimum standards that have developed over several years, supporting the achievement of many City and National Education, Health and Wellbeing outcomes.
The programme is available to all schools, colleges, early years’ settings and HE/FE establishments within Plymouth.
"We are extremely pleased to have achieved this status again," said Miss Frier, Executive Principal.
"It is always gratifying when external bodies recognise that our entire staff works continuously to put the health and well-being of our students at the heart of everything we do here."
