Year 7 & 8 Girls Football Team Compete at Central Venue Fixtures

The Year 7 and 8 girls' football team recently took part in the Central Venue Fixtures at Plymstock, where they played two thrilling matches that highlighted their talent, teamwork, and resilience.
In their opening match against Coombe Dean, the team put on a stellar performance, securing an impressive 3-0 win. Goals from Emi, Sienna, and Ava set the tone for a fantastic start to the day.
The second match saw the team face Heles. Although the game ended in a tough 4-1 loss, Emi scored a brilliant consolation goal, ensuring the team stayed upbeat and focused throughout.
A special mention goes to Emi, who was named Player of the Evening for her remarkable performance. Not only did she showcase impressive accuracy in front of goal, but she also served as a great role model for the Year 7 players with her leadership and attitude.
