6th Form Business Students Visit Ginsters in Cornwall

Fourteen business students from our 6th form had the exciting opportunity to visit Ginsters, a well-known food manufacturer based in Callington, Cornwall. This visit offered them a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of one of the leading brands in the ready-meal and pastry market.

The main goal of the trip was to help the students better understand how Ginsters runs its business and its production processes. During the visit, the students toured the production facility, where they saw how pasties and other well-known products are made. They also enjoyed a taste test of Ginsters’ products and took part in a Q&A session, where they had the chance to ask questions and learn more about the company.

The day was an enriching experience for the students, providing them with valuable insights into the workings of a major food manufacturer. The visit helped them connect their classroom learning to real-world business practices, making it a fantastic opportunity to apply their knowledge in a practical setting.
