Year 8 Basketball Team Shines in Recent Matches
The Year 8 basketball team recently showcased their skills in a thrilling set of matches against Coombe Dean and DHSB. The first game saw an outstanding performance from our team, securing a commanding victory over Coombe Dean with a final score of 38-6.
In the second match, the team faced a much tougher challenge against DHSB. It was a nail-biter from start to finish, with the score remaining neck-and-neck throughout the game. Despite an incredible 3-pointer from Ruben with just 10 seconds to go, DHSB managed to edge ahead with a final basket, clinching the win 22-20.
The whole team played exceptionally well in both matches, showing great teamwork and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of their performances and look forward to more exciting games ahead!
