Students Rally Together for ‘Children in Need’: A Day of Compassion and Community

Today marked a remarkable day as students from all years joined forces to support a cause close to our hearts – ‘Children in Need’. The school was filled with excitement as the community united to raise funds for this meaningful charity.

A special thank you goes out to our dedicated House leaders and captains. Their efforts were truly commendable as they organised and ran a plethora of activities throughout the day, contributing significantly to the success of our fundraising endeavours.

Break A featured a fun sing-along karaoke challenge, where students donated 50p per entry to watch staff perform their favourite songs. Laughter and cheers filled the room as teachers took the stage, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere that showcased the school’s strong sense of community.

At Break B, students were given the chance to pay £1 to sponge a teacher, an event that quickly became a crowd favourite. The playground was full of laughter as students lined up to drench their willing teachers, strengthening the bond between students and staff while boosting participation.

We are proud to reveal that our efforts across campus resulted in a fundraising total of £235! This achievement is a testament to the generosity and commitment of our school community, and we extend our gratitude to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this noble cause.
