In their first game, SDCC faced the home team, DHSB. Despite a strong effort, the match didn’t go in their favour, and they were defeated with a final score of 24-12. While the loss was disappointing, the players remained focused and determined, eager to take on their next challenge.

The second match saw SDCC up against St Boniface, and this time, they came out on top with a hard-fought 21-16 victory. The game was incredibly close, with both teams taking turns in the lead. In the final moments, SDCC managed to score some fantastic baskets, pulling ahead to secure the win.

A special mention goes to Elijah who was excellent throughout. His performance was exceptional, and his skills on the court even earned praise from the DHSB team, who recognised his talents.
