In their opening match against All Saints, the team displayed impressive shooting skills, securing a 7-2 victory.  From the start, the team worked seamlessly together, with quick passes and strong positioning that gave them the edge over their opponents. The shooters were particularly impressive, converting opportunities into points and setting the tone for the rest of the match.

Their second game was against Lipson, and once again, the Diamonds proved their strength on the court. This time, it was their defence that stole the show. The defenders were on top form, intercepting passes and applying pressure to the opposing team. Their hard work paid off, securing another victory with a score of 6-2. The team's ability to adapt to different situations, whether focusing on offence or defence, was clear and contributed to their overall success.

What made these wins even more special was that it marked the first time the Year 8 Diamonds had won both their matches in one fixture. The team is now eagerly looking forward to their next fixture, where they hope to continue their winning streak and further build on the solid foundation they have created.
