Students Engage in Thrilling Draw My Thing Competition

House fever swept through SDCC this week, igniting an atmosphere of excitement and creativity amongst our students. During Break B on Friday, students had the chance to showcase their artistic talents in a unique game of Draw My Thing.

Students faced off against each other, armed with nothing but their quick wit and drawing skills. The rules were simple: participants had a mere 30 seconds to illustrate a given word displayed on the screen. With eight contenders fighting for the title at a time, the pressure was on to unleash their creativity swiftly!

The event was more than just a game; it was a lively spectacle that transformed the main hall into a buzzing arena of colourful sketches and enthusiastic cheers. Under the keen eye of the Sutton Sixth Form House Captain, one victor emerged victorious, their artwork capturing the essence of the chosen word with flair.

Amongst the crowds, students couldn't contain their excitement. "This was worth the wait all week," exclaimed one student eagerly.  By the end, students were asking, "Can I have a go!".

The success of the Draw My Thing competition reflects the growing momentum of Stoke Damerel's House System, with Sutton House leading the charge as gracious hosts of the event. It's clear that the spirit of camaraderie and friendly competition is alive and well within the college walls, fostering an environment where students can unleash their creativity and forge lasting memories.

We look forward to the next big challenge!
