Digital Ambassadors lead Safer Internet Day assemblies
Tuesday 7th February marked Safer Internet Day and all week, Digital Ambassadors have been delivering assemblies to encourage students to make space for conversations online.
For many of our students this was the first time they had ever presented in front of large audiences, but by the end of the week they had presented to every student in the school.
Digital Ambassadors is a new initiative at SDCC. They are a group of students who have a love for digital technologies and have volunteered to help staff and other students make the most of their learning through the use of technology. They will also contribute to larger projects such as helping to create websites, develop social media strategies, supporting at open evenings and Primary School taster events, creating digital assets for staff and students to use and will work with our IT support team to help diagnose and fix problems.
