It's Curriculum Enrichment time - there are loads of activities taking place over the next two days from surfing and beach cleaning to trips to France, Thorpe Park and Bristol and lots more! Here are updates from just some of the activities taking place...

Music and Performance

The Music and Performance group spent their two days working on a number of musical performances and there was quite a crowd in the Street on Friday to hear them perform.

STEAM Beach Clean

The group had a fascinating talk on Day Two from Pam Buchan who is a marine social scientist and a trustee for Sea-Changers. She spoke to students about marine biology, the effects of plastic on the oceans and careers in marine conservation.

Fun In The Sun:

Day two and the group are having a great time at Retallack Aqua Park

Fun In The Sun:

The Fun in the Sun group have been doing exactly what it says on the tin - having a great day out at Woodlands!

French Connection:

The French Connection trip left Plymouth on Tuesday via Brittany Ferries to Roscoff. On our first day the students went to the market in Roscoff and bought some local delicacies for lunch. In the afternoon we travelled to Morlaix and had a tour of the famous viaduct and old architecture going back to the 18th Century. In the evening we found the youth hostel and had a well-deserved dinner after walking 10 miles or 23,000 steps! We are looking forward to day two investigating Morlaix - Mrs Burn

Let's Go Outdoors

The group have arrived at Tamar Trails where they are going to get to test their head for heights by taking part in a tree surfing adventure

STEAM Beach Clean

The STEAM Beach Clean group have been picking up litter on the way down to their beach clean at Devil's Point
