A group of Year 11 students went to the University of Exeter recently in a trip called A Day in the Life.

It was an opportunity that allowed them to spend a day in the life of a student at a top university.

Our students were divided into groups and shadowed Engineering, Medicine and Medical Sciences students for an exciting, hands-on experience of an 'average' day at university.

"Students were given the chance to speak with lecturers and students about career opportunities once they complete the course and student ambassadors about university life/activities offered at the university," said Mr Crater who accompanied the group.

"It offers a fantastic chance to study under renowned academics and this was a powerful insight into studying at a top university, which encourages our students to aim high and raise their aspirations for their future."
