Students Quiz MP Luke Pollard

Students had a unique opportunity to quiz MP Luke Pollard about life in the Commons and his first year as an MP.  Representatives of Stoke Damerel Community College’s Executive Council and Modern Britain Council put a range of questions to Mr Pollard – who was elected to represent Plymouth Sutton and Devonport at the June 2017 election - when he visited the College.

Students Have The Recipe For Winning Video

Three students from Stoke Damerel Community College in Plymouth have won the Health Education England (HEE) Step into the NHS schools' competition for the South West of England. Harley, Josh  and Emile impressed the judges with their entry to promote the role of a chef. The trio created a humorous video, identifying the ‘ingredients’ needed to make a chef.
