Young Carers

Stoke Damerel Young Carers Group - Glowing Stars - was set up six years ago to support students who are young carers of parents or siblings with a mental or physical illness


Who Cares? Project

Students regularly take part in sessions as part of the Who Cares? project - helping young people affected by parental mental illness

School Nursing Service

The city's School Nursing Service is based in our College

Healthy Child Quality Mark

Stoke Damerel Community College has been awarded the Healthy Child Quality Mark for 2019-2022


Dementia Project

In the summer of 2012 Stoke Damerel Community College was invited to become one of 21 Dementia Pioneer Schools as part of the Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia. and we hold regular community Dementia Croquet sessions at our College

Our College has a range of facilities which are available for hire

Sports Leaders

Our Sports Leaders go out every week to local primary schools to run clubs and support sporting events

Play Unified

Our Sports Leaders took part in the Play Unified project welcoming 70 students from other city schools to our College
