Year 10 Football Success

The Year 10 football team recently took part in the first of their central venue tournaments for the season, and they couldn’t have asked for a better start.
In their opening match, the team faced Coombe Dean in a thrilling game that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Demonstrating impressive resilience and focus, they secured a 3-2 victory. The goals came from some excellent attacking play, with Abdullah and Oli both delivering standout performances, each scoring with finishes that had the crowd cheering.
Next up was a strong and determined DHSB team. However, the Year 10s were up for the challenge and secured another impressive win, this time with a 2-0 scoreline. The team’s goalkeeper, Jacob, played a crucial role in the success of the day, making a series of memorable saves that were key to keeping the opposition at bay.
The players’ hard work and dedication were evident throughout the tournament, and they left the pitch with a well-deserved sense of achievement.
