Congratulations to Year 8 student Paige whose team came third at the Sea Cadets' recent Drill Competition at HMS Raleigh.

"We came third out of nine teams," said Paige.

"We had to march in time and follow commands and I was really excited about getting a medal," she said.

She has been attending Plymouth (Drake) Sea Cadets for three years and now goes twice a week.

"You get to do loads of different activities like sailing and it really benefits you if you want to go into the Navy which I do.

"I'm hoping to be an officer."
