Stoke Damerel Community College has celebrated its partnerships within the communities of Plymouth and beyond as part of the College’s annual Celebration Evening.

Pete Nash from Plymouth Learning Partnership was the special guest speaker at the event on 19 November 2015 where more than 150 students were recognised for their achievements in a range of subjects and their contribution to College life.

"I was in awe at the self-confidence, awareness and insight of your students, it made me feel confident  that our future is in safe hands," said Mr Nash.

"Thank you for an inspiring evening."

Mr Nash’s speech to the audience of more than 400 students, staff and parents was part of a packed evening which featured a variety of video and musical performances as well as the presentation of a number of special annual awards, including the Roma French Award.
